Hurst66 world cup Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 5,659 Tega Cay, SC	Ashleigh was contacted by a bunch of D1 coaches after they saw her play in the Disney Showcase over the Christmas holiday. The Army coach recruited her hard and Ashleigh decided to take a look. Anybody who has ever been to West Point knows it is a very beautiful (unique) place. I'm not sure you can get a more comprehensive education anywhere else in the United States. To answer your question, the fact that all three Clemson coaches who recruited her were gone.....made it a little easier on Ashleigh's conscience to make the visit to upstate NY. Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
