Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Mount Pleasant state finalists last year? And didn't CESA win state cup this year?

It states 2008 finalist (this is correct) and 2007 Semi-finalist (also correct), so I asume you are pointing at the #1 ranking???? In SIC the rankings has to do with your play against all opponents and not just the state cup.. In the case of CUFC they had a very strong R3PL year and many of those teams are/were ranked very high including a 2-0 win over CESA

Please note that the year of state cup play is the year of the spring season even though the U15-U18 do not play in the spring. Thus 2008 Finalist.

In the end rankings are subjective to a large extent, although I believe SIC is a lot better than Gotsoccer or nationalrankings.com

You're a day late and a dollar short on this thread. The information on SIC was changed. It originally stated on CUFC's page that CUFC was co-champions with CESA this season- the game went to penalties.
