The SC 91 boys ODP team beat S. Texas 2-1 today on the first day of the Region Championships. They face NC tomorrow at 3 pm.

The SC 91 Girls lost to North Texas today, 3-0. South Carolina was down by only a goal at the half.

Congrats to the boys. Apparently it is cold & rainy in Houston.

Way to go, Boys!! Keep up the momentum...good luck tomorrow!

In day 2,
I heard the 91 Girls 1-1 tie with NC. NC scored within the last 2 minutes to tie it up.

91 Boys 0-3 loss to NC. Gave up 2 goals early, less than 10 minutes, then the 3rd at about 70th minute.

Tough one today for the 91 boys...Despite a solid second half showing, they lost to NC 3-0 on a very muddy field.

North Texas pounded North Carolina 5-0, so the 91 South Carolina Girls finish second in there group.

They cross over tomorrow against either Florida or Georgia to determine who finishes in third place overall.

Good showing by the 91 Girls.

PS - Bear, I heard the goal that NC scored to tie SC was actually scored two minutes into extra time!

Was at the other field and got the info second hand. However, I heard today that it was scored in extra time.

No problem, you are a lot closer to the action than I am.

The 91 boys finished tied for 3rd in the Region Championships after a 2-2 draw with Tennessee. Congrats to the boys on a great performance and representation of the state!!
