Let's see - bashing the media, then asking for their coverage and support seems to be a public relations nightmare.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems you would contend that Columbia area soccer coverage has been more than sufficient over the years.

If that is your assertion then you have confirmed my belief that you have no scope of the goings-on at this level of the game.

I can assure you, anything I have asked for from Coach Lea to provide exposure for his team and the game - he has given me double. If any other media outlet decides to do so, I am sure he will do the same for them.

Please, don't try to start trouble - we have enough of those people here already.

This is black history month so we could make use of such an example. Martin Luther King Jr., God rest his soul, criticized the government AND asked for changes in civil rights. I think that one worked out quite well.

(sorry, it's all the posters up that have me thinking about it!)

Taco Bell Viking Cup is hands down the best high school soccer tournament out there.

Steve, great job bringing in 32 quality teams every year.

I'll most likely end up at RNE/Blythewood and Aiken/Dreher tonight. Hope to see a great crowd for both matches - despite whatever weather we may encounter!

There is nothing like playing in a downpour, though with it being 40-50 degrees in the middle of flu season - that may put a damper on things. (pun intended)
