The "wild scene" was due to a late hit from behind against one of Lexingtons forwards. Should have been a yellow or red card. If the ref dosn't protect players the coach has to atleast voice his concern.
No place for shouting profanities for four teams to hear. Protect the kids, hold back on the cursing...especially after you've been carded. Take nothing away, however, from the coaching job done by Lexington nor the ability of those kids!

Byrnes and Dreher were outstanding surprises this year along with TLH! Leading AAA champ Eastside 5-1 and then finishing 5-3??? Good stuff girls!

I thought, according to the rules Steve sent that the 2nd saturday games could end in ties unless they were deciding the champion. I could be wrong and misread the tournament rules.
I also noticed on the CUFC website that the score between the two teams was listed as 0-0, but then again that could be listed wrong?

Well I guess it will go down as a tie, but for the record B-C won 4-2 in our "what if" pk shootout. Hard, hard working team that reminded me a lot of...South Aiken  . Good to see you again Ms. Smith!
