Congratulations to Wando; in the finals game with Lexington they absolutely deserved to win.

And congratulations to Lexington; I think this is the first time that they've made it to the Viking Cup finals.

I would like to thank Jack for his recap, shake my fist at him for not mentioning the goal called back for offsides, and wish him well on his quest to bring back "eastlands" to the casual footwear frontier.

Pardon me! Next time I will just scan and post my 1 & 1/2 pages of notes so I don't miss anything.

Here you go everyone, the skinny on the phantom offsides calls against South Aiken:

"SA#10 to #14 poor offsides call"

&

"another poor offsides call against SA"

Happy?

Great job to my Ben Lippen girls this weekend! Excellent performances against some excellent teams like Spring Valley and B-C. Playing like that against our regular season competition can lead to a great season! No wins in the tourney but a pleasure to play against some of the state's best teams. Something great to build on!

Airport played well/looked good during the tournament after having a tough break coming up short in PKs for their Thursday game.
The Summerville game was a real fight. The team is playing well even with an injury or two slowing them down. They should have a strong season.
