Wish they would also post what club team each player is on. Would be interesting to see the breakdown.

Wow - I won't mention any names, but will say that I'm surprised at some of this (more at who didn't make the top 15 in a couple of age-groups than who did). It's got to be a real challenge to pick these teams. In any event, congratulations to those who made the teams, to those who are alternates (keep working hard - they'll take more than 15 to camp), and to all those who tried out.

cid,

Here's what I know the best. I know of others but I know this group the best, based on where they played last year.

Stephen Arneson - CUFC 91 (?)
Andrew Barbieri - DSC 90 Green
Bradley Bugg - CESA 90 Prem
Jason Chapman - CESA 91 Prem
Travis Farnham - Bridge 89
Ryan Goodwin - CESA 90 Prem
Andrew Gorospe - DSC 90 Green
Alex Martinez - DSC 90 Green
Dennis Moore - DSC 90 Green
Byron Quinatoa - Lexington 89
Spencer Schiff - (?)
Matt Sluga - CESA 90 Prem
Joe Sweet - CESA 90 Prem
Thomas Valikonis - CESA 90 Prem
Taylor Varney - CUFC 90

Happy,
If I recall correctly I believe that your support is for the CUFC 91, so I'm making an assumption with respect to your questioning a couple of age groups, being the 91 and 92 selections. With respect to the 91 selections, as you can see the team is composed of predominantly players that are in the upper half of the ODP age group and therefore play club in the older ages. With that said, it shouldn't be to hard to understand why the largest portion of the team is from DSC 90 Green and CESA 90 Prem.

Correct on all counts. I can understand how it would be difficult to break into a team that has done as well as the 91 team. My surprise was based on what I saw at the subregionals. There were a couple of players who were real standouts who didn't make the first 15. Both players were trying out for the first time (tougher still). It'll be interesting to see if they make the team that goes to camp (I assume that they will take more than 15).

Re: the 92's...

Joshua Boone - CESA U-15
Joey Demare - CUFC U-16
Tyler Fletcher - CESA U-15
Ricardo Garbanzo - CESA U-15
Hunter Harrison - CESA U-15
Michael Lee - Lex U-16
Ben Limbaugh - CUFC U-16
Miguel Lozano - CESA U-16
Emmett Lunceford - CESA U-15
Ian Murray - Lex U-16
Oliver Nobels CUFC U-15
Matthew Palma - CESA U-15
William Padula - CUFC U-16
Rodrigo Reyes CESA U-16
David Walas - CESA U-15

Interesting that there are so many U-15's (nearly all from CESA, which we know to be a fine team).

Three clubs, four teams. Presumably there are some players at Bridge FA who would have tried out and made the team had they not been playing Academy. Otherwise?

just looking at the girls side it looks like the 91s are only listing 13 on the team.i would assume 2 of those are goalies and some of the alternates will be moved up before camp.

i also noticed that there are some families with more than 1 kid going to alabama.their daddys may need to get a part time job.

HD...3 clubs? I see 4 (CESA, CUFC, DSC, Lex), maybe the list of alternates should also be shown...it may show other clubs as well

For 91's and 92's, you're right. I was referring just to the 92's. I'm sure that there are alternates from more than those four clubs and that some enterprising person could identify most of them.
