I heard that they were giving a Viking Cup scholarship award. How is that when the rules in the SCHSL Handbook say that you cannot award scholarships?

11. All rules and regulations of the League must be followed. This includes the awards rule and the amateur rule. For an invitational event, symbolic awards may be given. Trophies must be reasonable in size. Scholarships or monetary awards are in violation of this rule.

Maybe it's donated to the school on her behalf so the individual isn't receiving any monies.

Congrats to some CUFC U17 Premier girls on making the all tourney team.
