Hanna beat region rival Easley 8-0 in the opener of this tournament. Congratulations to Keith Parker on this convincing victory in his first contest as a high school soccer coach!
It will be fun to see how the Hanna girls compete in two very challenging matches against Dorman and Spartanburg on Saturday.

Dorman JV Girls travel to Fort Mill for a 6 PM scrimmage on Friday night.....and then they have to be back in Sparkleberry for a tournament match against TL Hanna at 8:30 on Saturday morning? That's a lot of work for the Lady Cavs. Good job.

I agree Hurst, that is tough. But at least Dorman is local to the tournament.

and for the record...we called it Sparkle City when I was in college at Wofford. Man, I love that area. The Beacon, Sub Station II, sugar and spice...I am going to feast in Sparkle City for lunch after our match with Dorman that morning. I just can't decide where!

FM-Dorman varsity squares off at 7:30 PM Friday night. If the JV is on the same bus, what is the earliest they get home?
Game ends at 9:00 PM, bus pulls out of the lot at 9:15. Quick stop at the convenience store for munchies, they leave Fort Mill at 9:30?
Hour and a half back to Dorman by school bus, that's 11:00 PM? Mom or dad pick them up at the school, they are lucky if they make it to bed by 11:30?
I give them credit. They will earn their win on Saturday morning.

Before I made the other post, I almost asked if the JVs were traveling with the varsity girls. You are right, that will be very little rest between matches.
