So Northwestern will have to play Dorman and Lexington without Alex. They also have to play a good squad in South Pointe.

It will be interesting to see if the principal steps in and applies any more sanctions as this is being done @ other schools, since your behavior reflects that of the school and you are on school time.

A two week suspension is a pretty tough penalty. Plus if he should get a third, his season is over.

This won't hurt NW that much happening at this point of the season. It will give them a chance to work some other players into the lineup with some quality minutes. Isn't Spring Break in the Rock Hill schools within the next two weeks? Anyway, Alex will have to be very careful the rest of the season. Two Yellow Cards will do him in the same as a straight Red.

Fort Mill AD added on to both a girls and boys varsity players red card suspension. Bumped two games up to four.

I know these cards are bad and all, but come on please... You know how many unsportmanlike 15 yard flags are thrown in a single High School Football season? The answer is a bunch. You can late hit a QB, and none of this junk happens to you. It costs your team 15 yards thats it. Period. Soccer refs have way too much power, for what they are doing. Also there are only two folks to control a High School match. AYSO even has three.

Example of too much power: I saw a young lady get a yellow card for dicussing an off side call. She took a corner kick, stepped in 5 yards recieved it back to take a shot and was called off sides. She asked how could she be off, with people on the posts. She was yellow carded for being smarter than the ref.

3 US flags can result in an ejection in football.

This will be a good and a bad thing for Northwestern, like Realist said. It will allow them to get a few other players playing time and experience. It obviously hurts not having Alex in but it will benefit Northwestern in the long run.

I love his passion and intensity for the game but come on Alex! Be smarter than that!

So would you like soccer to sink to the level of football or do you think football should elevate to the level of soccer? Two technicals in b-ball same as Red card.
