The Socastee vs. North Myrtle Beach game was a very good match-up tonight with SHS coming up on top with a 2-1 win.
The first goal came from Justin Watson (SHS) with an easy touch into the net. The second goal came from a set play and Scott Windell (NMB) made the finish with an excellent shoulder flick into the goal. The half ended at 1-1 and the possession and opportunities were fairly even at the end of the half. In the second half, SHS had many more chances to finish, to no avail. Then, with four minutes to go, Orlando played the ball beautifully to Oscar and he stuck the ball into the corner for the game winning goal.
Socastee had the most chances during the game, NMB also had their opportunities. The game was very well ref’d and it was exciting.
Jesse Graham and Scott Windell really played well for NMB and Socastee’s left back had an awesome performance. However, when the game was winding down and dedication and desire was needed, Midfielder Bobby Belair for Socastee was the player on the field that really wanted to play and win.

Unfortunatly at Fort Dorchester last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted right at 50 minutes that started at 4:45.
Easily over 2 inches of rain. Field was under water and we had no cell#'s for Beaufort or we could have called and saved them some time.
We might have been able to play about 9 or after but even that we couldn't be sure of. We are definatly sorry that it happened and will re-schedule.
Good luck to the Eagles as their season progresses.

WE werent trying to prove anything, startes were in for five minutes after that it was second string, our starting gooalie played defense in the second half. I commend LR for fielding a team they played hard and with class.

The bc airport game was very hard fought by both teams. The second goal was scored with 1 minute left in double overtime on a good corner with a header for the goal. Airport's record does not reflect on there attitudes and ability to play in big matches.

not a full game it was called due to stormy weather but they improved greatly from the last time we played them, both of lakewoods goals were scored off pks taken by arron richardson and their goal was a bit of an iffy call on the refs side but me being the goalie cant argue because it could have went both ways over all a hard fought game. good game

yes i was wondering the same.
this was a very tough game. I would say fort mill had the 1st half with Rock Hill having many quick counter attacks. i think fort mill's goal ended up being whoever was faster and he won the race then put it nicely in the side the of the goal. RH came out at half with an extremely bad call in the box when their player was dribbling and a FM player pulled his jersey clearly back. o well, you get some and you dont. shortly after FM nearly put it up 2-0 after large confusion between RH defended, keeper, and a FM player. THe FM player missed a wide open net. RH scored right after as a result of a cross.
was fun the watch both teams play fast to try to win the game before the storm. Id say FM won the midfield but RH having nicer counter attacks.

Looked it up to double-check...a game is considered "suspended" if either (a) it is called prior to the completion of the first half or (b) the game is called prior to completion and the score is tied.
Suspended games are resumed at the point of interruption.

Agree in general but also a FM player was clearly taken down in the box and the refs place the ball right outside. Cleat and skid marks were clearly visible. Hard fought by both sides and would have been nice to have a finish.
