Region 2 for both 3A and 4A are death! It's a shame that Riverside is not in that Region!

This is by far the most ludicrous alignment handed down in a long series of head-scratchers.

Amazing.

So region 5 has 8 teams only 4 of which can make playoffs. But other regions only have 5 teams??? how is this fair?

Then you are allowed 16 games in a season. I assume you still have to play everyone twice (that's 14 for the mathematically challenged) that leaves 2 out of region games and tournaments (which potentially could be playing in-region team)

Who is the braniac behind this alingment????? OOOPSSS!!!!

I apologize profusely I did not mean to step on the toes of the mighty football machine. I beg forgiveness I am immediately changing my soccer balls for footballs.... Iwill immediately send money for the football machine's...err...... machine....so they can claim they own everything....

This is all BS. It reduces travel for football but not for the other sports

The thing is..it doesn't even make sense for football!

RNE traveling to Aiken?
Spring Valley to Rock Hill?
Rock Hill and Northwestern in different regions?
Lugoff-Elgin to Chapin (Camden across the river and in a different region)??
Carolina Forest to Sumter?

I'm curious what the issue is with having more/smaller regions and just having a different equation/system for determining playoffs -etc. With two years to figure this out..I just can't believe this is what we're given.

That's a lot of cash in gas that could be turned around, just to think up a new formula...

I would not complain too much about poor BE. You are inviting comments about whether or not BE is properly classified as a 2A school due to their ability to recruit and give scholarships; have kids from 3 different counties enrolled; etc.....

Some time it is prudent to lay low and remain silent.

Any schools—private or public—that have attendance policies that include students/athletes OUTSIDE the zoned attendance area should be automatically AAAA. Period.

looks like Riverside got an easy ride in a region, may be wrong, nothing bad meant toward anyone just a little off
