Yes Maurer looked very sharpe and saved the Gamecocks a few times. For a exhibition game both teams looked pretty good. Winthrop was a very talented team and had the better of the play until the subs went on. USC scored the goal with 16 seconds left. Both of these teams will have good years I think.
