From the Boys & Girls Soccer Regulations section on page 53 of the AAAA Handbook:

II. STATE PLAY-OFF
A. 32 teams will qualify for the State Play-offs. The top four from each region will qualify.
B. Each region will be responsible for determining the method for assigning play-off positions in the event that teams are tied.
C. It is the region coordinators responsibility to forward this information to the High School League by 9:00 am on May 8, 2009 for girls and boys.
