While i agree to some degree with your points Chief, part of playing soccer in college, as I can attest to having just finished my collegiate career, is enjoying what you're doing. Keep in mind that many of the athletes are only on partial, if any, scholarship at all, considering how many players are on the roster and how many scholarships are actually awarded. No matter how much money you may be getting, if you hate your job, you're not going to do your best in it, or think it's worthwhile, which is apparently why a lot of these players left. Like you said, though, we will see how things turn out as far as whether or not the attitude and approach the coach is taking will pay dividends.
