that is correct....
1- it is 50 miles from the institution
2- Only applies to NCAA affiliates, NAIA is different
3- Not 100% clear but if coaching opposite sex the rule may not be in effect
4- NCAA allows coaches to coach NON-recruit age players ususally U13 and below...U14 is tricky depending on player school grade
5- NCAA allows coaches to be involved in ODP program
6- Coaches are not allowed to do personal training if the player falls in the recruitable age group.
7- coaches are allowed to run mini camps open to everyone for a fee. Some places use this rule for TRAINING, therefore you pay the coach the fee as if he was running a camp. Of course noone can say whether anyone was excluded from the training.
8- SP9194 I also heard of special waivers from NCAA, but have never read in the NCAA handbook anything about this waiver. Suffice to say that schools would not let a coach create an NCAA violation if it was not legal.

Also note not all sports have same rules.
