JL Mann has done very well this year. To make the move to 4A after last year's season and be here this year says a lot about their coaching. Top notch. I am sure there was a good mix of skill and luck involved. But hats off coach you have done your job and helped your guys get to where all schools want to be, playing for upperstate.

I am a numbers guy and tend to look at records to see where everyone stands. I would not read a lot into this because the 22 boys on the field determine the outcome.

JL Mann comes out of the regular season playing teams with winning records on the road 5 times. They were 3 wins and 2 losses scoring 16 goals and allowing 8.
In comparison Irmo comes out of the regular season playing teams with winning records at home 5 times they were 5 wins and 0 losses. They scored 14 goals and allowed 3.
So far in the playoffs Mann has scored 10 goals and allowed 2 while Irmo has scored 12 goals and allowed 0.
The numbers definitely favor the undefeated Irmo team that has increased their number of goals in each playoff game. They have been dominate all year and have continued that intensity in the playoffs.
I love to pull for the underdog in every match and in this match that has me pulling for Mann. Good luck to both teams and I hope everyone is able to walk off the field with no serious injuries.

Love vs. Hate I prefer to hate you and so does everyone else
