Aiken Standard just posted that Lexington wins on pks. Lexington made 4 and South Aiken made 2. The 3rd and 4th seeds from region 5 playing in the lower-state championship.

Lexington scored first with a nice trap and side volley. South Aiken player dribbled down towards the box took a small touch left and blasted one into the back of the net. Stayed 1 - 1 for a good while. While Lexington was getting a few chances, they could never truly connect. South Aiken was having shots, but couldn't get that last touch. The Lexington keeper played a good game and his defense covered him many times. South Aiken had 2 throw in opportunities at the box at the end of the first half and during one half of the overtime when the ref blew the whistle before they could throw in. One of the last best chances SA had to score was during Golden Goal OT when a SA player came from the far right, dribbled near the box, and hit a P-Rod of a shot that went across the face of the goal and was wide by less than a few inches.

Lexington made 4 Penalty Shots
South Aiken made 1 Penalty Shot.
SA made the first PK then had 1 PK blocked and over kicked 2 if I remember correctly. South Aiken was the better team, but Lexington did everything they could to get the win. Overall, it was a great watch.
