Rock Hill, SC- After much thought and careful consideration, Winthrop University Men’s Soccer, has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2018 Manchester Cup. The weather forecast has been monitored closely for the past 10 days and the forecast has shifted in the past 12 hours. With the predicted amount of rainfall drastically increasing, player safety is a concern. We are also cognizant of travel time and safety of the participating teams and spectators. The City of Rock Hill and the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department are wonderful partners and we look forward to continuing to host the Manchester Cup at the beautiful Manchester Meadows facility in the years to come.
