Justin is definitely not the best sophomore in the state. He plays for Waccamaw in 2A. First of all, he is playing against below average opponents every week in probably the weakest region of the entire state in any classification. He is also the age of a junior. The true mark of a quality player is how well he plays when the team plays against decent competition. Out of the games that Waccamaw has played against teams in 3A or 4A that are ranked, Waccamaw is 0-4-1 and have been outscored a total of 22-4 by Socastee, North Myrtle Beach and West Ashley. That is a maximum of 4 goals for Justin in these 5 games, none of which they won. Obviously he is a good player because you do not score 30 goals and have 17 assists without being a good player, but there is no chance that he is the best sophomore in the state because the tough games have proven he is not a game changer.
