In watching last nights Dreher-BC game I was struck by how little of an impact Andrew Evans had on the game. He really didn't have all that many touches. While this might be partly attributable to Dreher defending him well, I think it has more to do with BC's style of play. They are not a passing team. It's kick and run with the defenders kicking the ball as far as they can and the forwards trying to out run the defenders. As a result, the BC midfielders (including Evans) tend to be bypassed. It's an odd strategy when you have a player that is supposed to be one of the better players in the state.
