Walker Griffith - #2 Senior Defensive Midfielder for Eastside will sign with USC Upstate on Friday, May 23. Walker flew under the radar his first three years playing varsity with his breakout occurring during the infamous Palmetto Cup. Walker joins Phillip Patrick (signed with Spartanburg Methodist a couple of weeks ago) and Kevin Ruck (Eastside '06 - Towson University) as the only players to continue their soccer careers in College during my tenure at Eastside.
