Us science guys are too busy playing in labs to read Fitzgerald.
Actually Jr/W&E/Fluffy/R1.com/etc. is a lot like Amory Blaine. 
Not an English teacher.....but would have loved it. Maybe when I retire that can be a second career. But with 4 kids I can't afford my Club soccer bills on a teachers salary!!!
I've always loved the "Lost Generation" writers. Waiting for Jim Morrison to share some of his trout fishing experiences from the last couple of days with us.
