I heard from a friend of mine that USC freshman midfielder, David MacVane, transfered to Rutgers. He was a starter for the Gamecocks.

St. Johns as well as many other northern schools were in the mix, but he's at Rutgers. I know this for a fact.

Found out yesterday that David MacVane has indeed transferred to Rutgers University in New Jersey. I wish him well in Piscataway and will continue to follow his career up there.

He had a decent freshman season for the Gamecocks (8-6-5) by tallying four assists in 17 starts, but quite honestly I expected more from the center midfielder. He seemed very tentative offensively (didn't like to shoot the ball) and sometimes would go into a shell when things got physical in the middle of the park. I'm sure he will adapt to the collegiate game a little better now that he has a full season under his belt.

i definately agree with kyle. he kind would never really shoot and would always tense up while going into tackles from the few games i saw. I wish him well and hope he has a great career up north.
