"Poor condition of Upstate"?

How about the poor condition of their own field prior to ripping it up?

The ladies of Spartanburg deserve better. No other squad has had worse luck with bad pitches.

If the 4A state championship was played on a cow pasture in Cowpens, Spartanburg would be the battle-tested favorites.

Riverside has a similar problem. Something like 6 teams on one field...not cool.

Six Greenville teams: JV + Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer + Boys and Girls Lacrosse at Sirrine Stadium and a strong tendency to protect that sacred "football ground". Quite a challenge to reschedule games this season. Fortunately, plans are maturing to add a new athletic complex right behind the school next year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Blue Ridge - 9 games cancelled or postponed so far. Rain is the big winner. There is always another side. People don't starve or die when there aren't soccer games. They do when a drought gets so severe that crops don't grow, etc.

Want to play, but bow to the bigger Coach who knows what he is doing.

Why not move the season on week back and give each team a week to make up games? Move back the Championship one week as well. How can you allow three or four games a week?

Not a good idea. The rest of us would like to watch the R2 teams knock the stuffing out of eachother over a condensed period of time.
