US Soccer’s Development Academy Technical Advisor will be present at South Carolina United FC’s tryouts on Sunday, May 10, 2009 in Columbia.
Raul Diaz Arce will be present in Columbia, May 10, 2009 to help educate parents and players about the US Soccer’s Development Academy Program and explain the benefits, scouting system and how this program is an extension of our National Team Program. Raul is a former US Soccer Men’s assistant coach with our U17 Men’s National Team and currently is the head scout for the South Conference in the U.S. Development Academy Program. While playing in MLS Raul scored 82 goals and won two championships with DC United. He is also El Savador’s second all-time leading scorer with 39 goals in 55 appearances.
