What is the tiebreaker for two teams in the same region with the same W/L who split games regular season?(Split games as in 1 team won 1 and the other team won 1)

The teams' coaches will compete against each other in a hot dog eating contest. Afterwards, they will have to say every rule in the SCHSL handbook in order, and say that Hazel and Singleton care about soccer.

Each region is responsible for its own tiebreakers e.g.

1.head to head competion
2.head to head competion fewest goals allowed
3.fewest goals allowed in region
4.fewest goals allowed overall

This is a common format but is not necessarily true for the region you are looking at, as I said each region has their own which the Athletic Directors usually approve. In our AAA region days we had a playoff at the school whose team won the first game. I liked that because it was settled on the field, however, the cut-off date for games and the date to report standings meant that sometimes out of region games had to be cancelled or a coin flip had to be used if make up games had to have been played at the last moment.

This is normally done for seeding purposes only and usually does not preclude the schools involved from sharing the official position they tied for in the region.

Just in case you are wondering, Roger and I are not closely related. I do care deeply about this game of ours, but would be forced to forfeit the hot dog eating contest to Dickie Smith if we had to use it. Besides, I think Hall of Fame coaches should win ties automatically in our region.
