2009 North-South Soccer Classic

Date: June 13, 2009 (Players report June 12)

Site: Wofford College (Spartanburg) Snyder Field
Who: 72 graduated seniors (18 North Boys / 18 South Boys & 18 North Girls / 18 South Girls).

Match Times: Girls - 12 noon / Boys - 2:00 p.m.

Banquet: Friday, June 12 at Wofford College. Cost TBA. The banquet will feature the recognition of the NSSC players/coaches as well as the 2009 SCHSSCA Hall of Fame inductees (Andy Demori and Ted Miller) and the recipient of the Dick Walsh Award - the SCHSSCA's highest service award.

***A coach (head coach, assistant coach, etc.) representing each player selected to play in the event is requested to attend the match to be recognized along with their player in the pregame introductions.

More information will be posted in this thread concerning the NSSC.

What time is the banquet on June 12 and are parents allowed or just players?

Banquet time is scheduled for 7 pm, but could move to 6:30 pm pending Wofford. As for parents, yes they may attend but must purchase a ticket. Information will be posted here when confirmed by Wofford.

Bo Sylvia of Lancaster will be there to assist on Friday/Saturday.

where are the boys staying and where and when is check in time??

Reminder that players should provide a copy of their HS physical in order to participate! Please send these in or bring with you to registration.

NSSC Update - Sunday, May 24

***Players need to bring their own linens (twin size bedsheet), pillow, and towels for the dorm rooms at Wofford.

***Banquet tickets are $20 per person in advance (players will be covered via NSSC) for Friday evening. Checks should be made payable to "SCHSSCA" and mailed to:
