Rangers won the SPL Title today and with it the automatic qualifying spot for the group stages of the 2010 Champions League. The Gers pounded Dundee United 3-0 at Tannadice(United's home pitch). Celtic finished second after drawing 0-0 at home with Hearts. Celtic will now have to go through the play-in round to qualify. Hearts automatically qualify for the UEFA Cup with their 3rd place finish.
The better team won. Plus, Celtic stole it last year, when the SPL wouldn't reschedule some games so Rangers played about four games in a week at the end of the season (SPL, UEFA, etc.).
