friday may 29, 2009 at 5:30 at the northwestern soccer stadium, the trojans will have the first alumni game. game will start at 5:30 with dinner at 6:30 with awards to follow at 7ish. dust off your old cleats and too small uniforms and come share in the glory of trojan soccer past present and future. let us know if you are coming. go trojans

Am I wrong, but doesn't the high school league count alumni games as a "scrimmage"? And since we're in a soccer dead period until June 1 would this count as an illeagal competition?

The game is not for any current players. Only graduates from 2008 or before. Graduates do not fall under SCHSL rules.

Anyone know if this is still happening? Think I may try and drive down for it, be fun to see some of my old mates.

it is still happening. no matter how old you are bring your cleats and shin guards and appetite. the game will start at 5:30 with food to follow at 6:30. i dont figure that many of you/us will last more than an hour. awards for the national champs will be at 7 also at the stadium. come if you just want to eat and watch slow old people fall down. c u there.
