#2 Marvin Ridge 1
#1 Ardrey Kell 0
This was North Carolina's version of Mauldin-Riverside. Both of these NC powerhouses will be playing in the BB&T Fort Mill Invitational.

Hickory Grove Baptist Christian (NC) has a conflict with the rescheduling of a (previously scheduled and rained out) mandatory religious service event. The HGBC girls soccer team will not be able to participate in the FMI tournament this weekend.
We now have an opening for any team that is currently scheduled to play in less than two tournaments this season.
Entry fee is already paid.
Any team interested would play York at 4:00 PM this Saturday afternoon, on one of the stadium turf fields at beautiful Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill.

How do teams not recognize these types of things occurring before committing to events like this? Doesn't make sense to me. How hard is it to look at a calendar?

The school rescheduled the event on Monday. The coach handled it very well by notifying me right away and also trying to get another Christian school from North Carolina to take his place. Doesn't even want his money back.
Mandatory religious affiliated event trumps the soccer tournament. I'm not thrilled about it because I'm in a tough spot right now.....but I understand it.
