Very sad story about UCSB soccer player Eric Frimpong (Ghana) in the current issue of ESPN The Magazine.

not sure how they found him guilty. there wasnt much evidence to do so.

That's so sad.

Assuming the information about the trial was collected, it seems like there was PLENTY of "reasonable doubt" about the evidence. And some of the quotes from the judge are ridiculous.
