Any word on how many teams are participating this year and who they are? I heard that Dutch Fork wasn't playing this year...

As of last weekend there are six teams.

Here is the preliminary schedule for HH. We may have only 6 teams, but it looks very competitive. I get the stump ducks then Steve Lea's lady Vikings.

T L Hanna vs. Blythewood (April 23, 8:00pm Irmo Practice Fields )


PRELIMINARY ROUND 2 – Saturday morning, April 24
SV vs. TL Hanna (9:00am W.C. Hawkins)
Blythewood vs. Irmo (9:00am Irmo practice fields)
Ridge View vs. Wren (11:00am WC Hawkins)

CONSOLATION ROUND – Saturday afternoon, April 24
5th Place vs. 6th Place (3:00pm WC Hawkins)

SEMIFINAL ROUND – Saturday evening, April 24
1st Place vs. 4th Place (5:00pm WC Hawkins)
2nd Place vs. 3rd Place (7:00pm WC Hawkins)

CHAMPIONSHIP - Sunday, April 19
Semifinal #1 Winner vs. Semifinal #2 Winner ( 1:00pm WC Hawkins)

Looking like a rematch from last year CJ. Hopefully we won't be on keeper #5 like last year and give you a bit more of a game!

I am just wondering how my ladies will take being referred to as the stump ducks! Some of them have grown partial to calling themselves Tony's Tigers instead...

Your girls are class and we look forward to it Tony. As I recall, you were pretty young last year. Are you mostly intact with the same squad?

Thank you for the compliment to the girls sir! I notice you left of a description of the coach while describing the team though.... huh... Might have done me a favor there!

I must return the compliment as well sir - to the players that is! Should be a pretty good year for you this time around again eh?

Kind of intact, lost 7 so we have 13 returning, added 4 so numbers wise we are a bit smaller than last year for now, but could always pull one or two more up.

GREAT kids though... Gonna be another interesting and fun year no doubt.


Now off to try and get ready for A.C. Flora...

CJ, very disappointed you are not quoting another high school football movie.

Stump, TLH gonna give you the same treatment that FM boys B-ball gave your Bengals last night. Send the Tigers home with their tails between their legs!!!
