Greetings Everyone:

I just wanted to let the SC Soccer community know that Im here in Clemson, SC and Im trying to settle in quickly. There is a lot of work to do but Im excited to be in such a nice state that is supposed to have nice weather and warm temperatures even though Ive only seen small amounts of that so far I thought I had moved away from the SNOW!!!

As the spring season is under way for the Clemson team, I am juggling many different responsibilities including coaching, recruiting, hiring staff and even being a father. However, I would like to make sure to get the surrounding soccer community involved too. In the coming months I am planning on getting a coaches discussion together in which high school and club coaches can attend a spring game with a meeting before and after the game. We will discuss the pregame outlook, tactics, and the postgame outcome and thoughts. Hopefully I will be able to set this all up soon and have a good turnout.

Also, as the summer months approach, I am diligently trying to get camp up and running and Ill probably be doing things a little differently than in the past. We will be having the individual camps as before, but Im also going to be putting on a team camp. The team camp will be for high school and club teams that want to grow together as a unit. There will be well qualified coaches working with the teams teaching them not only technical skills but also team tactics. Game play will be an important part of this camp so that the teams can get good game experience against quality competition. Registration for camps should open within the week at our website www.theclemsontigersoccercamp.com.

I hope to see and hear from the local soccer community during my tenure here at Clemson and I wish you all luck in your upcoming seasons. Please forward me a copy of your schedule and names of any players who you feel may be a good fit for Clemson. Thanks for your help!

That was a pretty slick camp promotion. Coach Noonan may want to check in the new NCAA rules that do not allow for coaches to run their camps more than 100 miles from their campus.

Welcome coach! Looking forward to coming out to Riggs to see the team this year.

I looked at the roster and it looks like the team is pretty young. How are they looking in training?
