Congratulations to Mathew Freeman of SC 94 ODP, CESA 93 Premier and IRMO Soccer for being called up to the U17 National Team.

On 7-21 Mathew committed to play his collegiate soccer at Clemson.

Cole Seiler from Christ Church, SC 94 ODP and CESA 93 Premier has also been called up to the U17 National Team.

Now wait a minute. I must have woken up on a different planet. I know that Tanner Eggers has been in and out of the National Team a few times. I actually don't know if he's in or out at the moment. But, if the above is true, does that mean that there have been 3 players called into the national team picture WITHOUT being in the academy? How is that possible?

I think it means that CESA has some excellent players who are being rewarded for their hard work!!!!

Assume this was intended to be a shot at the Academy program and I wouldn't go there. Lets leave the focus of this thread where it belongs, with the kids!!!

It should always be about the kids and their hard work.
