The better question is: Should it win on Tuesday, why is a No.1 seed playing a road game on Thursday night vs. a No.2 or No.3 seed? (2 teams it has already defeated)

Coach J, that is debatable.

Also, even though early in season, Wando has a 5-2 win over Lexington. Wando has only lost to Beaufort and Cardinal Newman (a hot team in Palmetto Cup) in state. Lexington just lost to Dorman who is sitting at #13.

Import simple question for you, which region is better this year:
Region 7
Wando 21 wins
Stratford 9 wins
James Island 8 wins
West Ashley 6 wins
Goose Creek o wins

Region 5
Lex 18 wins
S. Aiken 16 wins
Aiken 18 wins
White knoll 10 wins
N.A. 6 wins
OW 0 wins

Who has played to tougher schedule the last few weeks?
Wando or Lex?

I would say Lex, but I will let you and the others debate that for now. We will see Thursday if region 7 or region 5 is the better one.

Does it matter for anything? Both teams are seeded to where they won't play each other till the lower state final. Lexington has to play SV first, which is alot worse than Ridgeview, and then Beaufort 3rd round if they both win. Wando will play SA in Charleston, not Aiken, because Wando won their region, SA didnt. So once these teams play we can rank them accordingly, as for now it means nothing.

You have made a common mistake when looking at the brackets. Higher seeds always host against lower seeds. The "H" you see is the "Tie-Breaker" if 2 teams with the same seed number are playing. Lexington will hosts Round 2 if they win Round 1. If both Beaufort and Lexington meet in Round 3, they will play at Beaufort.
Before the Conspiracy Theories get started....these brackets are drawn up at the beggining of the school year....before teams are known. They change slightly each year to even out the Host Sites over a 4 year period....

Im not saying their region is better, just them. Look at Wandos losses. Wando has lost to Hoover (#1 team from Alabama), Norman North (#1 team from Oklahoma), Cardinal Newman (# 1 private school who also beat Lexington), and to Beaufort (# 4 4a ranked school with only 3 losses all year), and no top of all that Wando has a 5-2 win against lexington. thats not even a close game. Im not disrespting lexngton, just saying I think its obvious that Wando should be number 2. and if you looked at the strength of scheule rakings wando has the hardest ranked schedule in the state, with irmo at number 2, and lexington at 7.

* The Lexington/Dorman result did not figure into the rankings because it was not posted on the Scoreboard until Monday - rankings were done on Saturday
* Lexington was 10-0 prior to loss vs. Dorman, including the 2011 Palmetto Cup title
* Lexington was 14-1 in last 15 matches - only loss to 4A #1 Irmo (1-2) from March 29 to May 3

Don't forget that Irmo was missing started due to sickness when they played Lexington.....I am sure if they played at full strength they wouldn't come withing 3 goals again.

If you are going to argue a point, at least get factual information to back up your side.....
