Under the radar this past weekend, James Island Charter High School Hosted the Trojan Invitational Boys Soccer Tournament. In competition were Hanahan, Porter-Gaud, and James Island. Hilton Head Christian were scheduled to participate but withdrew the week before.

Results:
Porter Gaud 2:2 James Island
Hanahan 0:2 Porter Gaud
James Island 4: 0 Hanahan

All tournament team:
James Island: Jordan Cannon, Collin Cooper, Brandon DiTullio, Jacob Scott, Tyler Ulichnie
Porter Gaud: Frank Dougherty, Patrick Ennis, George Grice, Hale McCullough
Hanahan: Brandon Becker, Kwesi Lincoln, Roberto Medina, Chad Savage.

Huh? I thought the high school league made you have a championship. How can you do that with three teams?

We didn’t underestimate them. They were a lot better than we thought.
