The 8th Annual Fort Mill Invitational will be held at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, SC from March 14 - 16, 2014. We are currently excepting teams and are having great responses from the teams that participated in previous years. All teams that participated in 2013 should have received an invite to the 2014 tournament.

Please email me at shnsr@earthlink.net if you would like to bring your team or if you have any questions.

Very good night of soccer! Weddington vs Meyers park was closer than the score line shows (2 goals in final few min to put it away, actually 4th goal was PK given with no time left. Girl shot scored ref blew to end game.

Lake Norman vs Fort Mill was very close, only goal was clearly an easy stop keeper misplayed, but that's why you keep shooting! Lake Norman put on put on an impressive passing game, they are clearly a very talented and well coached team.

The positional discipline they showed put them in the right spot over and over. Always tough to get your first loss of the year but FM can look back to this game and learn/build from it.

Should be some more great action Sat & Sun!

One of the South Carolina team needs to score against an NC team. How embarrassing...

The sad thing about this tourney is no NC team can play for the championship due to NCHSL rules. Teams cannot play on Sunday and there's a limit to how many games they can play in a week.

No I would say that's a shame, the sad thing is that more top SC teams do not take the opportunity to play these top level NC teams. Want to see how good you really are come on up and play these FAB 50 ranked NC teams.

I guess the one thing to keep in mind is that some of the NC schools are very big.

Lake Normal has 2000 students
Olympic about the same
Myers Park about 2863
South Meck 2800

Rock Hill and Clover are around 2000, but Fort Mill and Nations Ford are around 1500.

Being a third to nearly twice as big as the teams you are playing has to help.
