With people talking about Rawlings balls and then realizing that my set has taken quite a beating over the years, I begin my search for a new set.

I was wondering a few things and I hope everyone here could give me some input.
1) What type of Practice balls do you use and why?
2) What type of Game ball do you use and why?

I know some hold air better than others but cost an arm and a leg. Some are heavy and some don't last so hopefully yall can give me a little help on my next set that'll last and not set me too far back. Thanks

I have been using Nike practice and game balls for the last 8 years, I have to say they are worth the money. I have some that are 5 years old and still hold air quite well. Every now and then you will get one that is defective, Lloyds has replaced that ball for me everytime no questions. I get the lowest price practice ball and game balls. Good luck!

@ Beaufort we used Nike balls for parctice & game last year. This year we went to Select for our game balls & they were pretty good. We still use the Nike balls for practice & the athletic dept. got us those Adidas brazuca balls & they're ok......takes some getting used to

Good question - we use many brands. But I have noticed that our Brine balls (game and practice) seem to have problem holding air for more than a season, so we will avoid these from now on.

Match Ball - Nike Catalyst
Practice Ball - Nike Premier

We've been very happy with both. However, since we're moving to Rawlings for the postseason, we may opt to purchase that ball next year so we're used to it.
