I have looked over the realignment and it sure did not help our smaller schools. The SCHSSCA has worked very hard over the last 20 years or more to get soccer the respect it deserves and this realignment is a huge step backwards for our smaller schools that put a soccer team on the field. It hurts all non revenue sports that our smaller schools participate in.There will now be a 1A/2A combination playoff system in soccer as there is not enough 1A schools left that participate in soccer. As i seee it there will be a 1A/2A cross country state championship as well. The HSL has really screwed this up. We have taken a step backwards all for the benefit of football makes me sick.
