I was sent this image on social media:

What an honor, congrats to Cheeks! He must be one hell of a player to play with the PDL team coming out of High School.
I then focused on the #noclashnoprob.
My first thought was, wait, this guy is good enough for a PDL team and Limestone but not the Clash of the Carolinas, where SC was beaten 10234923842-0 last year? Surely, you jest. Since this was perfectly in line with my original topic, I had to come back. I'm a glutton for punishment it seems. I went to the data as any good researcher would do.
Nope. It appears Jeremy Cheeks was not nominated for
ANY Allstar game by his coach.

So my question is, as the subject reads, WHY? Why is this tweet necessary? Logically there can't be many conclusions other than shameless self-promotion of a program and/or attempting to pass off an error by one (the coach/author of the tweet) on someone else. Maybe I'm misreading (doubtful), but I don't understand how you can claim #noclashnoprob. Is he slighting the actual Clash game? Or the selection? I don't see how either is valid. Rather, it should read something along the lines of #ICouldntBeAskedtoFillOutaSurveyMonkey #theInternetishard.
Promote your players before you promote yourself.
