I think it had to be the Emerald/BE game. BE is really physical and solid defensively and on the wings. They ran at us relentlesly and we somehow stay disciplined in defense to bottle up their attack...btw, i gave up the goal when BE scored, it wasnt my teams fault. But i also got the game winner, so i guess it cancels out.

What game do you think was the best?

I didn't see the second half of the G-ville/MB game or any of Irmo/NW.. but even though I have no connection with Emerald (I just happened to be sitting on the Upperstate side) I got TOTALLY caught-up in that match. You guys were great. The keeper, #2, and #9 were outstanding.. great team effort.

It was a quick throw in and I was busy yelling and not watching my man 100% and he got the ball and turned really quick, and I slid, it hit my shin guard, went over my keeper's head, hit the crossbar, and their #7 chested it in on the goaline...

So, I take it that the Christ Church and Buford game was boring?

I don't know if the game was boring, because I didn't see it. But, when I got to the Emerald/BE game I asked the score of the A final and they told me it was 4-1 instead of 3-1 with the Buford goal being scored almost at the end of the game. Can anyone confirm the times of the goals?

Either way, it looks like someone other than Christ Church will be there next year, because they've lost about everything except for a rising senior.

Having attended the AA an AAA championship games the AA game was the best. I have never seen so many stunned fans (Bishop Egland) in all my life when Emerald scored first. Great game to both teams and congrats to Emerald. Was the Emerald keeper All State? He played like it.

Cola fan, the score was 3-1, CC scored 2 in the first half(times not certain, but after about 15 minutes), and scored one more time halfway into the second half. The Buford goal was scored with under 10 minutes to go in the match.
