Hane Painter is from the Sumter Area. He use to coach the Girls at Sumter. Really Skilled coach and also a great guy. DF would be lucky to get a guy like him. Not sure if he is really getting the job but if he does Look out DF should be good to go.

where did Bo go?

Not sure who Bo is but I am still wondering if anyone found out if Hane Painter was taking the job or if the job was even offered.

Coach Bo is gone. The new coach at DF is Hayne Painter. He met with the players before school got out. Does anyone have any info about him? Have heard he coached at Sumter a while back.

I KNOW ALL ABOUT HIM. Great guy! His brother coaches Track & Football at Spring Valley. Hane is an outstanding coach and not to add he knows his stuff. When he got to Sumter lets just say the girls did not know much. He turned the team around within the year and ended up building a strong program. DF should be very happy to have this guy. He should do wonders for the program. Not just teaching them how to play but also teach them how to win with class and style. Should be a great year next year.

if DFHS had run Bo off prior to the start of the season would the powers to be with SCHSL allowed the girls team to play in the post season?

it still appears that the DFHS players were the big losers in the situation and that the powers that be (DFHS, SCHSL & Bo)took the wrong path in their actions.

where did Bo's assistant run off to? he was always on this board standing up for Bo and busting anyone that thought Bo was a loser.

you would think that this would be a hot topic with plenty of info being posted but to date we've yet to hear the whole story.

overall i feel for the players and wish that they could have played post season.
