Based on what has happened in the playoffs so far, what are the toughest regions in 3A/4A? What information do you have to support your answer?

AAA - Region V. Cumulative playoff score to date - Region V 53 - Other regions 2. At least the 2nd consecutive time that all 4 region V teams in the playoffs make it to the lower state semi-finals.

I must say that Region V-3A has to be one of the toughest regions for the girls (and also the guys). Defending state champions BC, along with a tough Chapin make a very competitive 1 and 2. Dreher also can compete with both of these teams and would win several other regions but came in 3rd in region V. Airport is not to far behind these teams either.

Parity rules the playoffs for AAAA, but regular season included would have them:

R-2/5 (Dutch Included)
R-7
R-4
R-8
R-3
R-1
R-6

Technically, would you call this the Lower/Upper State Semi's or the State Quarters?

umm region 5 3A is definatly the toughest and closest region where anybody can beat anybody any given day its up to who plays the hardest

Region 7 has to be the toughest in AAAA year in and year out. With Wando, James Island and West Ashley. Region 7 has won the last 4 consecutive AAAA state championships. In addition to playing a region 7 regular season schedule these teams also face Summerville, Hilton head and BE each year.

Not this year. Only Wando is left at the moment while Region VIII has two teams left. Lots of parity this year. I would have agreed the last 4 years, but now in A.B. (after Bolt) that area isn't the same. Great, but not dominant.

I agree Whiskey the region is weaker this year than the past 4. Julie Bolt, Alicia and Alexis Brothers and Daniel(wow can't remember he last name playing at C fo C now) made that West Ashley team the most dominate team 4 year team i have ever seen. Wando had an outstanding team during that tenure also. James Island was right their also.

Tonight will tell the tale of this season Wando has to go to Summerville and HH has to got to Irmo. Summerville's only loss this season came at the hands of Wando so they will be out for revenge. Should be a great match I'll be there so I'll give ya a summary later tonight.
