High School Girls' Soccer

Player of the year: Sara Johannesmeyer. School: Summerville. Year: Senior.
A two time all region selection who played on four region championship teams, Johannesmeyer was named the state player of the year by the Coaches Association of Women's Sports to cap a career that included 105 goals and 65 assits. She scored 25 goals and had 20 assists this spring. She also excels in the classroom. Johannesmeyer is a four-year academic letter recipient and has a weighted 4.6 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. She maintianed a rank of sixth in her senior class of 650.
