The Dallas Texans Red is on top of Group A after two games with 6 points. Dallas is the only team to have won both games out of the twelve teams selected to play in this year's U19 Super Group.

Dallas beat Mexico's Tigres, last year's Super Group winner, 1-0 on Sunday, and just defeated the Costa Rica U20 National team 3-2 earlier this evening. A win or a tie on Wednesday against the Blackburn Rovers guarantees a trip to the semi-finals on Friday. Tomek Charowski, nursing a groin injury, played all 90 minutes against the Costa Rica U20 National Team and scored two goals.

Tomek listed among top 100 recruits. Did he ever play high school ball anywhere?

Tomek Charowski plays for Christ Church and has played in the past three Palmetto Cups and Class 1A State Championships for the Class 1A Cavaliers.

Was Christ Church missing Tomek when they got beat 4-0 by Emerald?

yes tomek was out, and myself the starting sweeper was out too when we lost that game.

I think Tomek's team plays again tonight to see if they make it thru to the next round. Wish him luck.

Speaking of the Dallas Cup, Aiken Fire is playing in the U17 group in the "H" bracket. They are currently 1-0-2 and have 5 points, tied with 2 other teams in their bracket.
