What's the word on CUSC eliminating the director of coaching position?

my nephews U6 team in orangeburg needs a coach. you interested? They cannot pay, but you can have a juice box and a little debbie after the game. Plus all the orange slices during halftime

Have you contacted CESA? Otherwise this seems to be almost groveling!

I don't know Andy Grist, I have never met him, and I have never spoken to him. However, his results have been superb: both with the Fusion team and in my mind more importantly he's done an excellent job of helping kids move on to college ball. South Carolina college women's soccer is adorned with kids that played for him.

I thought the post was a straightforward thing. Let's face it, the last time some folks resigned from a club and then another club hired them people were up in arms about it.

I think it's "adorned", not "littered".

Andy Grist is one of the state's best soccer coaches at any level. The girls he coached on Fusion not only succeeded at the club level, but also dominated 4A HS soccer and are now impacting college soccer across the state. If CUSC has indeed let him go then this marks a turn toward mediocrity in lowcountry soccer.

Could not of said it better!!!! I think Charleston United is going to find out real quick that this was a mistake...Only hope the board will come to their senses on this or maybe the membership might let the board go.Charleston would do better with Andy and no board than a board and no Andy.I can only hope that Andy stays here locally.He is a soccer resource the lowcountry can not due without
