A post was started a couple of weeks ago concerning this age group which led to some confusion as Boys and Girls information was being combined. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to reduce the confusion and correct the spelling. CESA 92 Challenge will be playing both Columbia United Teams this weekend. Any predictions? It appears that the CESA Challenge team added 4 players from last seasons premier team. CESA Challenge must be favored this weekend until the United teams prove otherwise. BTW-Is there a composite schedule which shows all games on a given date?

Soccer16, I know you said it above, but I just wanted to clarify - the CESA Challenge team got 4 players from the Premier team? Although, now that I think about it, I guess it makes sense. I believe the Premier team picked up a few players from elsewhere - most notably Ricardo from Tega Cay - so, I guess the players that were displaced went to the Challenge team.

From the scores this past weekend, it looks (to me, at least) like the CUFC U14 Boys Elite team are still trying to get their rhythm. Once they get used to each other, they should be very strong.

The CESA 92 Premier team will always be tough.

And, you can never (I know, never say never) count out the Bridge boys - they looked pretty good against Mt. Pleasant this past weekend. Not great, mind you, but pretty good. They will play the CESA teams in a month, so that should be a good test for them.

Well not only did this team get Players from the Premier team they also got 4 Players from the Classic Team that should make an Impact right away.

Although I didn't see all the Bridge Mt Pleasant match, from what I did see in between our match, I stand by my earlier comment about the Bridge team. The loss of Ballentine in the back has revealed their lack of speed and leadership. They have NO forwards not one attacking stricker. And their scoring players from this match would seem to support that staement. Their midfield is small, but the addition of the Myrtle Beach kid has given them some better ball control skills. I really don't see them being much of a challenge for CESA.

I don't think the classic kids helped the challenge team out too much. Columbia united is lucky the cup season is in the spring for this age group. I have not counted the Bridge teams out yet, as I stated the cup will come down to the super clubs which includes Bridge. Columbia United still need to figure out their personnel and shore up their defense quickly. I guess those kind of go hand in hand! They don't appear to be getting many shots on goal. CEAS Premier is still the leader until proven otherwise.

Can someone explain to me how the spring cup season will work? From what I understand the CESA 93 and Bridge 93 teams will be playing in their respective age groups. CESA Premier and Tega Cay will be playing premier league. That will leave 6 teams playing in the league during the spring season. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Anybody see the CESA vs CUFC U14 game yesterday? How did the teams look? How did the two clubs match up yesterday as numerous games were being played between these two clubs.

I believe you are correct. I also believe this would mean that in the Spring, those teams remaining would play each other twice.
