It was 0-0 in the first half. Then around the first 5 min. Northwestern scores off a corner kick. About 5 min later, Northewester scores again. another 2 min go by and Spring Valley responds with a beautiful goal(one of the best shots Ive seen in High School soccer). After that Northwestern took over. Scoring with like 11 min left in the game. after that Spring Valley never really had a chance.

I know everyone talks about NHS forwards... but do not sleep on their mid-fielders and backs. Robbie Benson is very good. Stillman is one of the best tacklers in the state, and Zack clark is also a great tackler and defender.

As for Spring Vallley, i didnt know if they were missing any players or not, But tonight NHS was to good for them and wore them down, however i would not be surprised if this year is a rematch for the state championship. SV gave NHS the game of the year so far!!! DF and Irmo are not even close to SV. at least not the way they played tonight. The only one i havent seen who im curious about it Lexington! I hear they are good.

Great Game though... besides the missed calls for both teams!

I know that DF lost to NW handily in one game, but didn't they also beat them earlier in the tournamnet? It seems hard to say that SV is far ahead of DF and Irmo, but we will see about the DF and Irmo comparison in the upcoming game that is soon if I remember correctly.

Spring Valleys keeper is by far the best keeper that I have seen in the state. Any idea if he is going to play in college?

and how did sv give northwestern the game of the year? DF beat them the first meeting. The irmo game was 1-1 at half before some mistakes and unlucky breaks opened the game way up in the second half. i just find it hard to believe that a team that lost to northwestern 3-1 gave them a better game than a team that actually beat them.
