in my experiences, the refs have usually been on top of the cussing issue. ive had to be warned a few times for it myself. in my opinion, a warning needs to be given, and if it happens again, THEN show them a card. most of these high school matches are prety intense, so there should be some leway for it amongst the players, but to cuss at a ref shouldnt even be an issue. now the handball thing is a different story. i agree that the refs have been quite lax on most of those calls, but in reality, theres not much you can do about it. how many times has a players imput actually gotten a ref to go back and change a call, right?
